Customer FAQ – Looking to rent?

ClickandStor® Online Rental Suite Directory offers a Storage Calculator, so you can find the storage best suited for your needs. From the home page, find the Storage Calculator tool by clicking on “Size Calculator,” located between “Find Locations” and “Tips” in the navigation.

On the Size Calculator page, you can estimate your unit size by using preset room layouts or by customizing the items you plan to store.

Using the presets tool gives you a direct estimate of the storage unit you may need. Customizing your stored items lets you select items by room, including bedroom, living room, dining room, study, kitchen, garage, or miscellaneous items.

You can also use the “How Full Should the Unit Be?” dropdown to estimate your space based on how you plan to organize your unit.

  • No item stacking (reduced accuracy but no items will hover)
  • Some item stacking (medium accuracy)
  • Full item stacking (best accuracy but some objects may hover)

After making your selections, click “Calculate” to receive an estimate of the space you will need.

Climate-controlled storage, also known as temperature-controlled storage, is designed to help maintain steadier temperatures and reduce issues related to humidity and moisture. It can help protect sensitive items from mold, mildew, and temperature-related damage.

Items that may benefit from climate-controlled storage include:

  • Wood, metal, wicker, leather, or upholstered items

From the homepage, use your location and select “Search near me,” or choose “See units” from any of the storage facilities listed. You can also browse best-priced units near your location and choose whether you want to move in or reserve a unit.

If location access is turned off in your browser, use the search bar to enter your city, ZIP code, or state, then select a facility from the results.

After choosing a facility, select “Move In” or “Reserve.” The next screen will show facility features, insurance plans if offered, and any available discounts or promotions. Add the unit to your cart when you are ready.

Once your unit is in the cart, review the details, fees, and facility information. Then select “Proceed with Move In” and register your account. After entering payment information and completing payment, sign the lease. A renter’s agreement will be sent to the email address on file after the signed lease is submitted.

Note: If your facility uses Surescan ID Verification, you will also need to verify your identity using your driver’s license and a recent photo.

Depending on the renter and their needs, the process usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

ClickandStor® Online Rental Suite includes access to payment information, billing information, leasing agreements, and online pay tools.

After signing your lease, you should receive an email that includes your renter’s agreement and information about your unit, including your gate access code, unit number, and any facility-specific instructions.

General items that should not be stored include:

  • Live animals
  • Perishables
  • Liquids
  • Explosives
  • Flammable liquids and fuels
  • Toxic materials
  • Items that require a special controlled environment

The best way to avoid selecting the wrong size is to use the ClickandStor® Online Rental Suite Storage Calculator, which includes customizable selections and a 3D map tool to help estimate the right unit size.

If you have already signed your lease and realize the size is incorrect, contact your facility to see whether you can switch to another unit. Additional fees may apply.

It depends on the storage facility. In general, vehicles must be operational, and insurance information may need to be provided and verified before long-term storage or parking is allowed.

Check with your facility’s management for details about long-term vehicle or boat parking.

Yes. ClickandStor® Online Rental Suite includes payment tools, billing information, leasing agreements, and online pay.

Using the email associated with your account, you can log in on a mobile device or desktop computer to set up auto-pay or make one-time monthly payments through your dashboard.

From the home page, click “Account.” On the sign-in page, select your facility from the dropdown menu and enter your account details, including your registered email and password.

If you rented a unit but did not create an account, click “Create Account Here” and enter your information using the email your facility has on file.

If you forgot your password, select your facility and enter your on-file email address. A password reset link will be sent to you.

If you no longer have access to that email, update your email through your facility or contact Customer Support at 877-330-0221 for additional help.

Facility / Manager FAQ – Looking to list your facility or add ClickandStor® Online Rental Suite to your website?

From the home page, select “Add your facility” at the top of the page. This opens a contact form. Fill it out, submit it, and the ClickandStor® Online Rental Suite team will reach out to you.

The 3D Map lets tenants see the layout of the facility before renting, including the location of available units. Tiered Value Pricing helps tenants compare units by value based on factors such as proximity to entrances, elevators, and other amenities.

Together, these tools provide a more seamless experience and help renters evaluate good, better, or best options more clearly.

The platform includes a dashboard where facility owners and managers can view tenant information, new tenant activity, revenue data, and abandonment information.

Facility owners and managers also receive email alerts whenever a new tenant rents a unit through the directory.

ClickandStor® Online Rental Suite provides support from experienced industry professionals, along with integrated dashboard support, phone support, and email support Monday through Friday.
